Microsoft has announced the winners of its special chan-nel promotion ‘Microsoft
Beach Tango’ which was targeted at its reseller network across eight regions.
The promotion enabled Microsoft resellers to earn points on every Microsoft
hardware product sold; these points could be redeemed for a host of prizes.
The Grand Prize, a Honda City was awarded to Prime ABGB Pvt Ltd (Mumbai), the
‘Golden Gold Coast Beach Reward’ was awarded to Prime ABGB Pvt Ltd (Mumbai),
the ‘Super Seychelles Beach Rew-ard’ was awarded to Foretech Computer System
Pvt Ltd (Delhi) and PC Connexions (Mumbai), the ‘Merry Mauritius Reward’ was
awarded to Sun Marketing (Mumbai) and Baba Infotech Pvt Ltd (Pune) and the ‘Pretty
Pattaya Beach Reward’ was awarded to Matrix Techno-logies (Bangalore), Eastern
Logica Infoway Ltd (Kolkata), Radiant Technologies (Mum-bai), Compage Computers
Pvt Ltd, Orient Business and Services Pvt Ltd (Secunderbad) and CDS Computers
(Delhi).
Among the other winners were Foretech Computer System Pvt Ltd, New Delhi
which won a motorbike worth Rs 50,000, Baba Infotech, Pune won Tanishq jewelry
worth Rs 50,000, Matrix Technologies, Bangalore won Tanishq jewelry worth Rs
50,000, Orient Busi-ness Services Pvt Ltd, Secunder-abad won Tanishq jewelry
worth Rs 50,000 and in Kolkata, Eastern Logica Infoway Ltd won Tanishq jewelry
worth Rs 50,000.
Other than the mentioned categories, there were rewards such as Sony
walkmans, LG vacuum cleaners, Sony car stereos, LG microwaves and flatron
television sets for resellers who reached the 2000- 20,000-point slab.
Commenting on the ‘Beach Tango’ promotion Mohit Anand, Manager (Home and
Entertain-ment Division), Microsoft India, said, "Our channel partners are
our biggest asset and we organize promotions like Beach Tango to keep them
motivated and excited at all times while retailing Microsoft products."
