Micro Tech security products goes to Japan

Micro Technologies India Ltd has announced that it has entered into a tie-up
with Tokyo Software Business Co Ltd (TSB), Tokyo, for launch-ing its security
products in Japan. TSB will be launching these products for its custo-mers in
Japan and will also be providing other security and messaging solutions to them.

The company will offer its home security, disaster mana-gement and the latest
paten-ted invention, "Micro VBB" in Japanese version as part of this
agreement. According to the company press release, these systems enable users to
remotely monitor and control their assets through wireless systems including SMS
technology.

The solution offered cons-ists of a single device being installed to track
variations in the state of the security including remotely switching on/off
devices as per need. Based on its sensors and con-trols the device commu-nicates
this information to the owner or administrator through a simple message on his
hand-held device, states the release.

TSB overseas operation chief engineer GM Toshiaki Suzuki signed the tie-up on
behalf of TSB as Japan presents a large opportunity for the company's
products, which would effectively place the security directly in the owner's
hands, instead of relying on third party agencies.
