Mechanical black keyboard from HCL Peripherals

HCL peripherals has introduced a black colored mechanical keyboard with 107
keys. The keyboard is the first to be launched in the 107 keys, black-coloured
keyboard segment. According to the company release, the flashy black cabinet
with the white imprints of alphabets adds an attractive look to the keyboard.
The mechanical keyboard uses original ‘cherry’ MX linear key modules with
four mm full travel for softer and noise free operations.

The minimum key life of each switch is 50 million operations. The keyboard
comes with IBM Enhanced 107 key layout for PC/AT, PS/2 Compatible systems. The
unique feature of the keyboard, according to the company, is that it has three
additional keys (Power, Sleep and Wakeup) to support ACPI power management
functions. The keyboard comes in an ergono-mically designed cabinet. It is
priced attractively and targeted at corporates, government, DTP applications,
educational institutions and STPIs where people work for long hours.
