Masterminds IT will have region specific portals

Masterminds IT solutions, a Hyderabad based web-development company is all set to unveil a set of region specific portals. "We are in the process of developing 23 portals and all the portals will represent the different districts in the state. The prime aim of these portals would be to educate the rural people about the benefits that could be reaped with the help of Internet," said, Sreevatsava Varada, Director, Masterminds IT.

The company is designing the portals so as to increase the awareness of the IT in the deep rural areas. The company is also going to organize different awareness programs all through the state for the education of the poor. "We are going to provide the basic education needed to operate the computer and understand its benefits. Will also do it on the district level, in addition to that these portals would complement the government's efforts for the e-government project as the portals will carry all the information about the districts of the state," he added.

The first portal to be unveiled is www.khammaminfo.com and would be released in the last week of this month. The portal is going to canvass the district of Khammam. In addition to this the portal is designed to help rural people understand IT in a better way. It also has the facility of online examinations for different categories. After this the company will unveil similar portals for districts like Vizag, Kurnool and Vijaywada. "We are hoping to complete all the portals by the end of the next year," he added.

The company generated revenues of Rs 40 lakh for the last fiscal and is hoping to increase that figure sizably for the next year. By carrying out a significant portion of the application development out of their own solutions center in Hyderabad, and by maintaining continuous communication with its clients the company creates a win-win situation for its clients through cost-effectiveness without compromising product quality. The company has a team of 12 people working on different projects and it is expecting to expand its work force by the end of next year.
