Manugistics new center in Hyderabad

Manugistics Group Inc, a global provider of synchronized supply chain and
revenue manage-ment solutions, has announced the formal launch of its third
product development center in Hyderabad. The Indian deve-lopment center is
expected to undertake end-to-end product development and also involve in the
creation of intellectual property.

Presently, the company employs around 30 people and has charted out plans to
increase the manpower to 300 in the next 12 to 18 months. "We would be
scaling up to 200 by the end of the calendar year 2005 and to 250 to 300 by the
end of financial year 2005-06. The new facility would be ready by June
2005," said Salil Joshi, VP and MD for Indian operations, Manugistics.
