Manikandan joins HP IPG

Manikandan, who

had been working as a Business Head-B2B at LG Electronics India,

has joined as the Director-Inkjet and Web Solutions (IWS) at HP

IPG. In his new style="background: transparent none repeat scroll 0% 0%; -moz-background-clip: border; -moz-background-origin: padding; -moz-background-inline-policy: continuous;">

role at HP,

Manikandan would be reporting to Ravi Aggarwal, President-IPG, HP

India. Manikandan joined LG in November, 2001 and has previously

worked as the Senior GM-Sales and Marketing (IT Products) for the

Korean heavyweight in consumer electronics and appliances. Prior to

LG Electronics, Manikandan worked as the Sales Head with Acer

Communications & Multimedia. An Engineering graduate from the

Coimbatore Institute of Technology, Manikandan has an expertise in

sales and marketing of IT hardware with strong insight into IT retail

and channel management.

Manikandan has joined HP IPG early this

week for its IWS portfolio that includes the HP Deskjet, HP

Photosmart, Officejet and Officejet Pro and Retail Photo Solutions.

The imaging and printing major, HP is already committed to establish

new IWS global design center in Singapore by early 2011. While The

DQ Week was unable to contact Manikandan for comments, HP IPG

also remained tight-lipped until the time of filing this report.
