Israel-based Magic Software Enterprises, with its presence in 50 countries
inclu-ding India, is in the process of setting up a channel partner network in
India. The company, known for its software deve-lopment and integration tools
called eDeveloper and iBolt, respectively, is looking for systems integrators (SIs)
and consulting houses as its channel partners.

As of now, the company has finalized two big consulting houses and is
considering getting at least 10 more partners by the end of this year. The
company is all set to appoint 50 more partners for iBolt and 150 Magic Solution
Provider (MSP) for eDeveloper by the end of 2007.

According to the Magic Software Asia Pacific and Africa Regional Sales
Mana-ger Meir Koren, eDeveloper is a 4GL table driven soft-ware development
tool, which can cut internal cost and time. "A normal project that requires
10 people and six months to develop can be completed in just one months with two
people with eDeveloper," informed Koren. eDeveloper is designed to handle a
large number of databases.

has been four months since iBolt was first introduced to India. "We
introduced iBolt after a thorough testing in other markets," said Koren.

The company's channel strategies also include a revamp and expansion of the
sales forces at its Pune office. It also has plans to set up five offices across
