Indore-based Madhya Pradesh Computer and Telecom Association(MPCTA) recently elected its new team for the year 2013-14. The elections were held for the post of president, 2 vice presidents, secretary, joint secretary and treasurer, which were later unanimously elected by the house.
This year, Raghvendra Tripathi become the president of the association followed by Sumit Gupta as immediate past president. Manish Goyal and Tony Jhawer are the two new vice presidents, and Jagdish Mantri has been elected as secretary. The portfolio of Joint Secretary post has been given to Pankaj Jain, whereas Amit Bhandari has been reelected as treasure this year.
This year the association has also formed an advisory committee constituting four members. The role of this committee is to scrutinize the profile of existing and new members.
Speaking to The DQ Week, Tripathi said, "This year, we will be appointing only those dealers as our association members who have their own office and home in the Indore. We want to work with ethical dealers and distributors so that we can improve our day to day business operations."
This 17 year old association has close to 200 members in its fold and has been an active body in the city. The association wants to work closely with its other local unions from Bhopal and Ujjain.
