Ma Foi contemplating setting up a BPO center in Kolkata

Chennai-based Ma Foi Out-sourcing Solutions Ltd, one of the majors in HR BPO,
fol-lowing an offer from the Kolkata government is think-ing on the
possibilities of setting up its second center in Kolkata.

D Rajiv Krishnan, Director and CEO of the company said that the Kolkata
government has made an offer of 1,000-seater facility. "But we will look
upon the possibility depending upon the penetration and the business
opportunity," he added.

Meanwhile, Ma Foi is going in for a ramp up this year. Currently, it has a
100-seater facility, which it proposes to scale upto 250 by this year.

In yet another move, Ma Foi has signed up with one of the world’s largest
pay roll proce-ssing companies to do its back end activity. "Currently, the
tie up which is just a strategic partnership will result in a joint
venture," remarked Krishnan.

For this financial year, Ma Foi has signed up with two leading BPO companies
in Bangalore for their HR activ-ities. It has also signed up with a Delhi based
IT company again for HR outsourcing. Because of non-disclosure agreement, Ma Foi
declined to name the firms.
