Ludhiana association gets 'young'

The biggest and one of the oldest associations of Ludhiana, The Association of Computer Entrepreneurs (ACE), has roped in a young brigade into its working committee.

The new team came into being on December 13.

ACE former general secretary Gurpreet Singh Jagdev, said, "The seniors encouraged energetic youngsters to take charge as old team choose to play the role of "watch and advice" as chairman and adviser to chairman panel will guide the transformation."

According to Paramjit Singh Juneja, presiding officer, ACE, "The election went of very well, the full team including president, VP, General Secretary and Joint Secretary were elected in unanimous consensus, while election took place only for Treasurer Post that was won by Ram Sharma of Sehaj Peripherals by landslide 84-2 margin."

As per the new formed team, Jaspreet Singh Hobby of Netway Infotech is the president, while the post of VP has been taken over by Satpal Singh of Sun Solutions. Aashish Jain of New Jain Computers and Deepak Angi of perfect Computer World have been elected as general secretary and joint secretary, respectively.

Besides the office bearers, six executive officers were also announced which included Devinder Mahendru of 3CM Infotech, AP Singh from Hemkunt Infotech, Khushjit Singh (KK Computers), Devinder Singh Gujral (Pioneer Infosys), Arun Chaudhary (Classic Technologies) and Mandeep Singh (Headway Marketing).

Gurpreet Singh Sunny, past president, will be the chairman of the association. As per the norm previous presidents will continue as advisers in new term also.
