LSI for ultra-mobile PCs

Fujitsu Microelectronics has announced the launch of a one-chip
system power management LSI-MB39C308 for ultra-mobile PCs (UMPCs), to supply
power to the system, memory and chipsets.

Features

• Compliant with low power Intel architecture (LPIA) platform
  for UMPCs

• Comes with DC/DC converter control circuits, which generate
  voltages across six different channels and supports power for memory

• Realizes high-efficiency power supply required for UMPCs

• Equipped with LDMOS technology that makes it possible to
  supply power from a lithium-ion battery as a large current at high
  efficiency rates, without dispersion

• Comes in reduced size and simplified design of
  power-managing system through reduction of peripheral components

• Power supply voltage-5.5V~12.6V

• Power frequency-700KHz (±20%) fixed
