LG launches B2B vertical solutions

announced the launch of its technological solution products for
Indian business verticals in retail, education, hotels, offices, and
banking businesses. LG B2B vertical solutions include digital menu
board, Ez sign TV, room infotainment, digital signage, commercial
display, projectors, and security solutions among others. “Our
Indian division has shown immense opportunity for growth of
integrated solutions for B2B. We are targeting a turnover of Rs 1,000
crore and marketshare of 25% by end of 2014,” said Soon Kwon, MD,
LG Electronics India.

The company
also discussed its business strategy for products and the Indian
market. Its product strategies include the introduction of cutting
edge technology, strong R& D with constant development,
customization for particular geography, and a roadmap as well.

The
company intends to follow aggressive GTM global traffic approach)
with geo- specific penetration programs and packaging with regard to
marketing strategy. LG plans to take the course of direct selling
through channel partners to sell the products. We also plan to sell
30% of the products directly and 70% through channel partners. This
sales model would be flexible,” said Hemendu Sinha, business head,
LG India. Moreover, LG is in touch with the Gujarat government for
business in the rural areas. “We are not directly dealing with the
government of Gujarat because this is actually regarding the roll out
of the educational content in various schools of Gujarat. There are a
lot of educational content providers already in the business from the
front end in this deal, we shall provide various products from the
back end,” concluded Sinha.
