The scheme will be applicable to all the sub-dealers and system assemblers buying from LG's regional distributors. This scheme is valid pan-India on LG monitors. The company announced the first lucky draw winners of this scheme on March 17, where 121 sub-distributors have won DVD writers and weekly winner have received LG's Super LED monitors.

Speaking on the day of lucky draw to The DQWeek Sanjoy Bhattacharya, product group marketing head, LG India said, "The objective of this scheme is to create excitement among our sub-distributors so that they start stocking material and push the product. The Thai flood disturbance and further slowdown in the market has lower down the sentiments of channel partners, as a result they have cut down on the inventories. Hence, to build their confidence we are announcing daily and weekly gifts in all the 44 branches of LG India." This scheme has been picked up by partners with full thrill and excitement. More than 789 sub dealer's participated and a cumulative purchase of 3786 units of monitors were being made in just 4 days.

Bhattacharya further stated, "We are quite bullish with this scheme. We have seen dealers from cities like Rajkot, Vijayawada, Aurangabad and Jaipur participating in good numbers, wherein Ranchi, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Jammu cities are slow in buying. Having said that, we are targeting to sell out 50,000 monitors by end of March, 2012."

This scheme is part of our Dealer Relationship Management (DRM). LG has put an investment of Rs 20 lakh on this DRM activity. Soon, the company will be putting its DOA and service support policy online for partners, with the contact numbers of area sales manger and zonal manager. The other schemes which are currently running are LG's 'Instant Vikas Patra' and soon it is going to roll out scholarship scheme for dealers' children.
