In a move to strengthen

the organization and build on the robust growth it has achieved over

the last year, href="https://www.dqweek.com/lenovo-india-opens-200th-les-lite-in-calicut">Lenovo

India has added new faces to its management

team. “We are focused on driving speed, performance and efficiency

with a corporate structure that makes us even faster and even more

customer focused. Going forward, we will continue to introduce

game-changing products, quality service and support and enhance our

go to market strategy through channel. I am confident the new team

will help steer Lenovo towards its business goal,” said Amar Babu,

MD, Lenovo India.

Rajesh Thadani,

director-consumer segment, who has been leading the consumer

business unit reporting into Alex Li, will now independently handle

the segment. Rahul Agarwal will continue to lead the relational

business

Rajiv Rao, director-SMB

segment, joins Lenovo to lead the SMB business. Rajiv has over 18

years of experience and has worked with Pepsi, HP and Dell before

starting his own venture from where he joins Lenovo.

Hunter Zhou joins Lenovo

as head-services support. Zhou was previously with Lenovo EMG as

director-call centre and technical service support for China and

service delivery for REM (rest of emerging markets). In his new India

role, Zhou will be responsible for service delivery and services

sales for India and South Asia with a focus on customer satisfaction

for consumer, relational and SMB.

Over the last couple of

quarters, Lenovo has gained significant marketshare in India and

introduced a range of high performance PCs, in sync with its

commitment to innovation and technology leadership. Its ability to

bring in exceptional products across categories ahead of the market

has helped it grow twice as fast as the industry. With the new

management team in place, Lenovo aims to sustain this growth

trajectory and continue to bring in cutting-edge products that sets

the company apart in the Indian PC market.
