India has added new faces to its management
team. “We are focused on driving speed, performance and efficiency

will help steer Lenovo towards its business goal,” said Amar Babu,

Rajesh Thadani,
director-consumer segment, who has been leading the consumer
business unit reporting into Alex Li, will now independently handle
the segment. Rahul Agarwal will continue to lead the relational
business
Rajiv Rao, director-SMB
segment, joins Lenovo to lead the SMB business. Rajiv has over 18
years of experience and has worked with Pepsi, HP and Dell before
starting his own venture from where he joins Lenovo.
Hunter Zhou joins Lenovo
as head-services support. Zhou was previously with Lenovo EMG as
director-call centre and technical service support for China and
service delivery for REM (rest of emerging markets). In his new India
role, Zhou will be responsible for service delivery and services
sales for India and South Asia with a focus on customer satisfaction
for consumer, relational and SMB.
Over the last couple of
quarters, Lenovo has gained significant marketshare in India and
introduced a range of high performance PCs, in sync with its
commitment to innovation and technology leadership. Its ability to
bring in exceptional products across categories ahead of the market
has helped it grow twice as fast as the industry. With the new
management team in place, Lenovo aims to sustain this growth
