Lenovo-branded personal computer unveiled

Lenovo Group Ltd launched its first-ever Lenovo-branded per­sonal
computer that will be available worldwide. Acqui­ring IBM's PC division last
year, Lenovo once again enormously changes the related position of each player
in IT world with this announcement.

SiS has been forming a close partnership with Lenovo Group
for a long time, and has its SiS661FX chipset introduced all over the world
together with the first Lenovo-branded 3000 series desktop PCs-Lenovo J100.
This model is designed specially for small business customers, and features
SiS661FX chipset with choice of either P4 or Celeron D processors, a sophisti­cated
color-contrasting front bezel, curvilinear design components, custom desig­ned
side-access air ventil­ation, and other optional accessories. Furthermore, it
is equipped with serial ATA drive support, 6 USB 2.0 ports and front side audio.

SiS661FX, the world's first integrated chipset, supports
the 800MHz Front Side Bus, also proving a 6.4GB/s transferring bandwidth and
stable high-speed computing function. With an embedded graphic engine and
high-speed DDR400 function, SiS661FX provides excellent performance of
multimedia functions for heavy gamers and digital video players. The powerful
chipset also provides superior image qualities that totally rede­fine the top
graphic stan­dard of the integrated chip­sets. Moreover, by adopting SiS'
revolu­tionary Hyper Streaming Technology and the intellectual data-pro­cessing
module, SiS661FX offers the most efficient resource distribution.
