Legrand (India), a subsidiary of Legrand Group, has unveiled range of safety,
security and home automation products for the building in-dustry. Based on the
Radio Frequency Tec-hnology (RFID), Legrand has br-ought in India its tamper pr-oof
wireless int-ruder alarm system. The ala-rm detects int-rusion by con-tact
detectors and passive in-frared detec-tors and starts hooting upon receiving
radio message from the detectors to a receiving panel. The alarms come in long
range, self supervised mode, with batteries that last for two years and siren
power of 110 dB noise.
Legrand has also launched its high-tech audio, video door phones. According
to the com-pany release, now residents/ commercial buildings/ indu-strial units
have options of guarding themselves against unwanted visitor, open the door
without having to move by pressing a push button. The system is latest in
technology with protection from corrosion and vandalism. The High-tech camera
works on infrared and can iden-tify person even when there is dark-ness out
side.
"We are la-unching these products ba-sed on cus-tomer dem-and as seen
last year. We are very exci-ted on launch of these pro-ducts," said
Jean-Charles Thuard, MD, Legrand India. "These hi-tech products are
innovative, latest in technology, aesthetically designed as well as reliable and
quality proven for which Legrand is known," he added.
Legrand will make available its latest offerings in security, safety and home
automation products through its dealer network of 500 stockists and resellers.
