Law & Judiciary in Gujarat to be under e-governance

Slowly but surely the Gujarat government has realized that it has been sitting on a gold mine. And now it has started to dig in order to reap the benefits. Asia's largest IP based e-governance would now have law and judiciary under its net shortly in Gujarat.

The state government has now decided that all data relating to legal matters should be computerized and available to the advocate general's office and government pleaders at the time of hearings in courts.

As part of this strategy, even the litigants would be benefited. Narendra Modi, Chief Minister of Gujarat has given clear instructions to help those litigants who have moved to courts for injustices in criminal and civil matters. With the integration of computerization into the e-governance module, even the accountability is likely to be fixed for non-performers.
