Lanner Electronics launches network security products

Lanner Electronics India, 50:50 joint venture between D-Link India Ltd and Lanner Electronics Inc US, has introduced its network security products, which according to the company release, will cost 40 percent less that Cisco, Checkpoint and others. It expects to add considera-bly to its turnover through its new venture.

There are major virus attacks hap-pening all over the world crashing the entire system. This leads to tremendous loss of data and revenue in the corporate world. These virus attacks have incepted the security market, which is in the in thing this year.

The security market is on the top list in terms of revenue earning.

Lanner India has its area of operations in the segment of industrial PCs and embedded PC. The company quoted that it has grabbed a clean 40 percent market share in just two years and is the only Indian company, which has a direct presence in the IPC segment.

Currently, the company is in the process of maneuvering in network security products segment by challenging the big giants like Cisco, Checkpoint and others. In another month or so, Lanner India is all set to venture in one more category of products which will add to its turnover by double.

To create mass awareness of its new products, Lanner is visiting Delhi to organize its first channel partners meet on November 29. Lanner India provides pre-sales and after-sales support through its trained and equipped battery of professional engineers.
