LanBit's bounces with new growth strategy

LanBit group's strategy has been to grow by partnerships, consolidation and fragmentation and leveraging for exponential growth. Each business unit has been fragmented into a new legal entity-Tulsient Plc for software, SFS Ltd for training, LanBit India for UPS, LanBit Networks for networking and data communication, LanBit Peripherals Pvt Ltd, for storage products. 

The company has invited suitable partners with complementary strengths for each of these entities. Tulsient has HHS, UK as a partner, SFS has MIT as a partner, LanBit Peripherals has Allion as a partner and LanBit Networks has chosen Anoop Goyal from Debug Computers Pvt Ltd, as a partner.

"The need for LanBit is channels and customers have expressed the need for us to increase focus on networking and data communication business in our group. This need for renewed energy and market focus is very real," says Manoj Kumar, MD, LanBit in a statement issued here.

"Our objective is to leverage LanBit's products testing facilities, sourcing and market strategy and complement it with media and channel knowledge/relationship of Anoop Goyal," he said.

The company's existing management systems, distribution and marketing policies remain unchanged. New corporate office for LanBit has been situated at Ghatkopar in Mumbai. This state-of-art office will act as capacity planning center for networking and data communication business. "With this major change we are rapidly moving towards gaining our position amongst top three networking and data communication companies in India," Kumar said.

In a bid to fuel their endeavor, the company has developed and released a full line of high performance low cost networking switches. The current run time is around 350 networking switches per month. Full line of Gigabit cards and switches are going to be released in early May. 

LanBit has the following directors: Thomas Chien, Director, LanBit/Allion Technologies, Taiwan, Anoop Goyal, Director, Debug/Candid, India and Manoj Kumar, MD, LanBit India Pvt Ltd. Kumar will both be the Chairman and MD of the company.
