Kumaran Systems celebrated its 10th anniversary by shifting its base to a 18,000 sq.ft office at the Tidel Park. "This is a proud moment for us at Kumaran Systems. With a modest start ten years ago, we are today acknowledged as one of the leaders in the migration solutions business world over. In the next two years, we plan to leap frog from technology based solutions to total end-to-end solutions. We are looking at about 6 customers in each of these verticals. Our dream is to be the leader in these, and other verticals within the next few years," said Mohan Subramanyam, CEO, Kumaran Systems.

The company also announced its expansion plans. Kumaran Systems will be diversifying to offer a larger suite of services. The new initiatives include developing core competencies in specific industry verticals like telecom, insurance and finance.

Kumaran Systems is also aggressively expanding its channel partnership program in order to reach other regions including Japan, the Scandinavian countries and Europe.

Kumaran Systems plans to tap the US market this year, with the opening of a new office in California. The company expects to generate a revenue of $ 2-3 million this fiscal year from operations in the West Coast.

Kumaran Systems plans to double its manpower to 700 in the next one year. Post this high growth in manpower, key service offerings, like data-warehousing will be spun off as full-fledged development centers.

Talks are also on with the world's leading CRM player, Siebel, to build Kumaran's skills in CRM related solutions around Siebels' CRM products. These alliances will enhance access to newer technologies and develop customer base.
