Karur IT association (KITA) is planning
to conduct product awareness training programme for its members in
the current month. A Sadasivam, Proprietor, NB Tec said, “Our
member partners deal with lot of products relating to security. We
want to impart training on automatic data recovery which will help
them in their course of business. We face lot of power related
problems during summers and sudden loss of power can lead to loss in
data. This way we will be able to recover the data without any
implications.”
To keep track on all its members, the
association has issued ID cards to all its members. This card will
contain the respective member's details and can be used as display as
well as emergency card. When asked the reason behind this initiative,
Sadasivam replied, “This has dual benefits. Members can display
this card in their shops which is a proof of their authenticity.
Apart from the business use, this card will also contain their
emergency contact number, address etc in case of any mishap.”
Sadasivam is also one of the affected dealers who purchased 'Black
Cat' software from Stellar Information systems limited two years ago.
Till date he has not been able to sell 10 percent of the entire
stock. The matter is now escalated to Confed-ITA and Sadasivam is
planning his next course of action against the company.
Since the association is just two years
old, the board members want to increase the association strength.
Currently it has 50 members on board and is three months away from
its next elections.
