Kerala’s biggest PC order for Compu Needs

It’s a bonanza year for this Trivandrum-based reseller. 

Compu Needs, a leading reseller of the local IT market, recently closed a major order for supplying 425 PCs to Kerala Technopark-based US Software. The total worth of the project was Rs 1.5
crore.

US Software is a 100 percent export oriented unit (off-shore development center) whose headquarters is based in the US.

“Recently, they had gone for a major expansion and recruit-ment drive, and they purchased PCs for the same. Our order of 425 PCs in one shot is the single largest order in the history of any reseller in Trivandrum and even in Kerala. We are very happy about it,” said a much-excited Gokul Govind, Director, Compu
Needs.

The company bagged this order in the month of February and supplied machines in two lots. “We have supplied 300 machines sourced from Sam-sung under buildurpc program and rest 125 from Ingram Micro (Magix PCs),” he said. Compu Needs has signed AMC for all the 425 machines for three years with US Software.

“We hope to get some good business from government, cor-porate and SOHO in the coming months,” added
