Chief Minister of Kerala, VS Achuthanandan inaugurated Kerala IT's third IT
Park, Kochi Infopark at Koratty on Oct 10.

Allotment for the Phase 1 (about 40, 000 sq ft across seven villa /buildings)
of the Koratty Infopark project launched in January this year is 90 percent
completed with 13 compa­nies buying space to set up offices that will employ
about 500 professionals. The companies setting up office in Koratty Infopark are
Bluelabs Technology Solutions, Braddock Infotech, Cent Techno­logies, Infoprism
Solu­tions, Advaya Infotech, Scienetic Technologies, Mulberry Technologies,
Sahradaya Infotech, Glitz IT Solutions, Sans Infotech, Guidelines Softnet
Technologies, Exar Software Research, and Gem Management.

The park is already becoming a hot spot for IT companies with its proximity
to Kochi by 45 km and 14 kms to Cochin International Airport at Nedumbassery.
The other factors that make Koratty Infopark a very viable investment
opportunity for IT companies is: the National Highway, uninter­ru­pted power,
cost effective reliable infrastructure, single window clearance/services by
Infopark and green Kerala inspired high quality workspace. Some of the leading
educational institutions, schools of international standards and leading
hospitals are also in proximity of Koratty making the IT Park not only a high
quality workspace but also easy access to major talent pool pockets and other
amenities.

“We have incorporated the green building concept in the design of the
buildings here to blend with the existing architecture of the place and thus
strive to provide a beautiful and inspiring atmosphere for a successful
professional life,” said Siddhartha Bhattacharya, CEO, Infopark.

“In fact due to heavy demand for space for Infopark Koratty, we have decided
to advance the development work on the second phase from 2010 to Oct 2009. We
also plan to offer developed plots on lease basis to interested co-developers in
the second phase. The third phase of development of the park will also be thrown
open to private builders in the State. When completed, the Park will have a
direct employment potential of about 6,000 IT profes­sionals.” He added.

The park developed in 30 acres at the end of the second phase will have IT
buildings of approximately 70, 000 sqft area with plug and play facilities.
Seven buildings at the Koratty Infopark are ready to occupy and they have been
named around flowering trees like Gulmohar, Rajamalli, Chandanam, Mandaram,
Ashokam, Devatharam to name a few.
