Several district associations in Kerala have postponed their elections to the middle of May.
Speaking to The DQ Week, Toshy Mathew, president, AKITDA, Ernakulam, said, "March and April are busy periods for us and many of our members had requested to change the election dates which were announced before. Considering their requests, we are planning to conduct the elections in the middle of May."
John Kottara, PRO, AKITDA said, "Only Kottayam completed its elections last week. The other districts are also in the process of conducting the polls by the end of this month or the first week of May."
