Kaspersky rolls out new distribution and channel management policy

Mumbai: Kaspersky Lab India has announced their new distribution and partner channel management policy for India. They have recently announced their partnership with Pune-based Sakri IT Solutions. Under this recently signed three-year agreement, Sakri will begin retailing Kaspersky Lab's products right across the North and West of India. They will be providing a round-the-clock freephone customer support line.

Hyderabad-based Zoom Technologies will remain as the exclusive business solutions partner and retail partner for the southern and eastern regions of India. Zoom Technologies will provide the same level of round-the-clock freephone customer support within their own region as that offered by Sakri IT Solutions.

To enhance the channel management system, Kaspersky Lab India has decided to be directly involved in partner registration process and pricing policies. According to Alexander Gnatusin, Director-Channel, SA, Kaspersky Lab India, “We strongly believe that this new approach will stream line their business activities in India and be beneficial to the partners from all tiers. Our South and East regions will remain under our tried and trusted partner, Zoom Technologies. We are now happy to be associated with Sakri IT Solutions for the North and West of India. This has come into effect as of Jan 1, 2010. We look forward to a long and successful association with them.”
