Kaspersky appoints Caltron as its Platinum Partner

has appointed Caltron Group
as its Regional Distributor for the Delhi and NCR region. Under this
distribution agreement, Caltron will act as the Platinum Partner of
Kaspersky and will do the distribution of the entire range of
Kaspersky products. Caltron has a strong network of 565 resellers in
the Delhi and NCR region through which it hopes to push the Kaspersky
products. The company is quite upbeat about the Kaspersky products
and is ready to integrate it in its hardware segment. Apparently,
this is the first security company that Caltron has added in its
kitty.

Speaking on this partnership, Vivek
Kumar Suhasaria, Director, Caltron Info Trade commented, “We are
very excited with this development. Kaspersky is the second largest
security company in the world and is well-recognized brand. We are
happy to partner with such a widely accepted brand across the globe.”
“By becoming the Regional Distributor of Kaspersky for the Delhi
and NCR region, we are expecting very good numbers in terms of
revenues. We agreed to this partnership only after we saw that the
demand for Kaspersky products are very high amongst the consumers and
the company has penetrated well in the Indian market.”

The company further believes that the
addition of Kaspersky in its hardware segment will definitely
strengthen its product portfolio. Caltron is also expecting 15 to 17
percent of value addition in its services. Meanwhile, Kaspersky is a
natural fit for Caltron Group's growing portfolio. Caltron's
expertise in the distribution space will definitely give more and
more mileage to Kaspersky in the Delhi and NCR region. It also fits
with its mission to be the number one partner for its vendor in the
chosen markets. “We are constantly striving to align with vendors
who are leading this category. This partnership would enhance
Caltron's capability of providing its customers and channel
partners with the complete range of solutions and services,” opined
Suhasaria. Though the company has yet to outline a proper strategy
for the distribution of Kaspersky products, it has set the aim of
making the supply of these products smooth in the Delhi and NCR
region. It also wants to leverage the presence of its strong reseller
network to reach out to maximum customers.
