Kanpur Computer Dealer Association (KCDA) unanimously elected Yogesh Agarwal
of city-based Aryan Computers as President for this year. The election held on
May 1 also elected other executive body members. The new team includes Ravi Pan-dey
of Sun Corporation as Vice President, Opendra Yadav of Swift Infosystems as
General Secretary, Nitin Rathore of Sapphire Technologies as Sec-retary and Atul
Seth Of World Line Systems as Treasurer.
In the past one year, KCDA has been instrumental in resolving issues with
dis-tributors, ensuring that healthy environment pre-vails in the vibrant
channel community of the region. According to former KCDA president, Arun
Bhargava of Techno Serva, the market was facing the problem of cheques being
bounced and the association successfully dealt with the issue.
"A lot of issues get resolved when we interact with the positive frame
of mind. We want to create an atmosphere that increases the profitability of the
channel players," added Agarwal. The new president was emphasizing on the
importance of channel interaction.
With close to 130 mem-bers-KCDA is one of most active associations in the
state of Uttar Pradesh. "However, keeping everybody informed with the
latest developments at the asso-ciation is difficult so we are putting up our
website www.kcda.net," said Agarwal. This website will have the latest
information about the activities of the association and will also be used to
alert channel community about the defaulters in the market, he added.
