Kale plans to expand outsourcing business

Pune based Kale Consultants Ltd, provider of airline and
banking solutions, plans to expand its outsourcing business to other industry
verticals. The company is planning to generate around Rs 25 crore from
outsourcing business. It has branded its BPO business as Managed Process
Services (MPS) and opened a development facility in Mumbai. Kiran Karnik,
President, Nasscom inaugurated the new MPS centre.

Speaking on the occasion, Vipul Jain, MD, Kale
Consultants said, “Our MPS growth plans are based on a three pronged strategy
that includes increased customer acquisitions, increased service offerings in
the airline domain and penetration into new verticals like banking and travel
and transport.” The company also plans to increase its headcount to 250
employees by end of this year and 800 by 2006. Revenue target is Rs 10 crore by
2006.

At present, Kale offers end-to-end revenue accounting
and sales audit services to the airline industry. It plans to expand its airline
services portfolio to include ticket proration, cargo sales audit and interline
billing among others. The company currently has three outsourcing clients and is
adding three more to its portfolio.
