Joint seminars by Asset & Sun on 'Enterprise Computing'

Asset
and Sun Microsystems held a joint seminars all across the country which focussed
on Asset's 'Enterprise Computing' course, its need and importance in present IT
scenario. The seminars were held in Bangalore, Baroda, Chandigarh, Kolkata, 
New Delhi and Mumbai.
 

Marking
the occasion, Asset has also announced some attractive schemes for its students.
A 30 percent discount on upgrade fees for Enterprise Computing courses and
scholarships up to 30 percent for existing students and passed out students was
announced. Fresh students enrolling before 30th September, 2001 also stand the
chance of gaining a 20 percent scholarship.
 

Dr
NJ Rajaram, CTO, Asset, said, "Industries and companies are concentrating
on projects in isolation. Since these projects do not interact with one another,
we are initiating in popularizing the technologies that integrate various such
independent applications. This course talks about one such platform for
application development, integration and technologies surrounding this
platform."

informed, "Enterprise Computing course offered by Asset is a course which
will greatly benefit the students as it gels  with the demands of the new millennium. It enables students to understand
the enterprise computing framework and related technologies and allows them to
develop enterprise applications using J2EE platform to achieve perfect
integration of applications at Enterprise level with different legacy
systems."
 

With
Asset's current existing students being key invitees at the seminar held in
various cities, the presentation on 'Career opportunities in Enterprise
Computing and Placement Support' was the most awaited section of the entire
series of seminars.
 

Speaking
on the career opportunities available for the students enrolled for the
Enterprise Computing, Dighe added, "Enterprise computing professionals are
playing a big role in enabling IT- driven businesses as Enterprise Solution
Architects and Consultants, Data Modeling Architects and Data Warehousing
Engineers, Web and Business Component Developers, Field Application engineers
and Field Consultant Engineers."
