JCDA to organize cricket tournament in April

In the recently held first executive meeting of Jalandhar Computer Dealers Association(JCDA) comprising the new team, it has decided to organize a Cricket tournament for the Cricket association.

The association is organizing a JCDA 'Canon Cup' Cricket tournament on April 29, 2012 and will be inviting neighboring cities to participate in this friendly match of IT associations. Canon is the main sponsor for the event.

Speaking to The DQWeek, Puneet Dhir, general secretary, JCDA said, "Four teams have given their consent to participate in the tournament. Besides JCDA, Chandigarh IT Dealers Association (CIDA), Association of Computer Entrepreneurs (ACE) Ludhiana and Amritsar Computer Traders Association (ACTA) will be playing.

There will two league matches between the four teams and the final match will be played between the winning teams of league matches. All participants will be provided breakfast, lunch and refreshments throughout during the tournament.

An awards distribution ceremony will be held at the closing where all the participating team members will be honored with mementos along with the Winning Trophy and Runners Up Trophy.
