JCDA gets new offices bearers

The Jalandhar Computer Dealers Association (JCDA) had its elections at the city's hotel Kamal Palace. This was the toughest election ever held in the history of JCDA. There were a number of candidates for different posts. Some new faces also appeared as office bearers of the association.

The election was conducted under the supervision of a three-member election committee including Rupesh Sharma of Computer Touch, Saini of Netpro and Sumit of Expert Computer.

Ashok Kumar of Media Services was elected as the new President. Earlier, he was the VP. Arun Kumar of Regional Computer, who is a new face in JCDA, was elected as the VP. Rajiv Khanna of Computer Touch was re-elected as the General Secretary. Two more new faces in JCDA are Trehan of Syndicate Computers as Cashier and Sonu of Surindra Enterprises as Public Relations Officer. Each of the posts saw a close fight except that for the post of cashier, where Trehan was elected unopposed.

The newly elected executive members of association include Amarjit Singh Kumar of Kumar Computer, Manjit Singh of Software Solutions, Nirmal Singh of CT Computer Division, Ravish Sugandh of Realtech Systems, Rajesh Chopra of Contact Point Computer, and Ravinder Bhumla of Netpro Systems.

Taking into consideration the efforts of Daljit Singh, the outgoing President of JCDA, in the formation of the association and honoring his devotion to work, he was elected as the Chairman of JCDA. According to the members of JCDA, in the last two years, the association has achieved different goals and recognition in this region under the leadership of Daljit Singh and his efficient team. So, Chairman is a new post which has been generated by JCDA to honor him.
