has elected new office bearers post annual

elections, held on March 11, 2011. The inductees include Parminder

Saini, President; Sanjeev Trehen, Vice President; Inder Mohan

Bhaskar, General Secretary; Puneet Dhir, Joint Secretary; Rajnish

Gupta, Treasurer; and Bhupesh Sauganth, PRO. The new team for

2011-2012 will take charge from April 1. These members were elected

under the supervision of the association's electoral committee that

include: Diljit Singh, Rajiv Khanna and Shyamal Gupta. JCDA also

named a five-member executive team with Rajesh Gupta, Sukhwinder

Singh, Manjit Singhm, Supreet Singh and Gurpreet Singh.

, Parminder Saini, incoming President of JCDA said that, they

will work for the benefit of the IT traders and the members with full

transparency. The association has close to 70 members, while the

partners' base is more than 150 in the region. "We will focus on

embracing more dealers to our fold, and will act as a facilitator to

provide more visibility to them. In addition, JCDA will indulge into

a series of social activities for the welfare of channel community,"

he said. Saini said that the association has been working

satisfactorily for the past few years, and the election is a change

of guard. "The functional agenda will remain unchanged. In the

past we were resolving region-based partner issues, but we will also

look forward to initiate a process to resolve the dealer-vendor

problems, if need arises," informed Saini.

Saini also said that most

of the vendors are focusing on Chandigarh and Ludhiana regions in

Punjab, while Jalandhar is one of the emerging IT market place that

has a lot of potential. JCDA has been involved in organizing various

social events and programs with support from its members, and

conducted family meet and cricket tournament recently.
