Plans to give computers to underprivileged students

In a meeting held by the Jalandhar Computer Dealers Association (JCDA), gave a warm welcome to the newly elected members of Hos-hiarpur Dealers Association, who were the guests of honor. 

The new team of Hoshiarpur association was introduced and views were exchanged on diffe-rent matters. JCDA executive members declared donation of eleven set of school dresses to poor students of Arya Girls School, Basti Sheikh,

Jalandhar.

The association also declared to donate a computer to school on October 2 to the same school. This computer is being donated by JCDA for computer education to poor students who can’t pay the fee.

In the event, JCDA also detailed launching of JCDA center exchange, in collabora-tion with ‘Connect’ private telephone provider in Punjab. Under this scheme members can have a three-digit tele-phone number, which is free to use within members and can also be used as normal phone. In the initial list twenty mem-bers have joined this and asso-ciation hopes to include more members in the near future.

The executive members also declared celebration of Diwali mela at Jalandhar for families of JCDA members. Details of the celebration are yet to be declared.
