In an attempt to offer relaxing time to its members, Jalandhar Computer Dealers Association (JCDA) organized a 2-day long trip to Kasauli. Thirty members gave their consent for the tour. The tour started at 6.30 AM on September 8 in private vehicles. On the way to Kasauli, Chandigarh IT Traders Association (CITA) welcomed the JCDA team and both associations had a wonderful time over breakfast.

According to Puneet Dhir, general secretary, JCDA, "Life in IT business is full of stress and overtimes. Meeting targets and commitments, resolving service issues and clearing payments make the life of IT channel partners very demanding. Rarely we partners get time to sit together and know each other closely beyond business terms. Even the local meets are short events for 1-2 hours which rarely justify the fellowship time. Hence, to take out the stress JCDA, wanted to plan a trip to the hills to let the partners relax and unwind in nature's lap. This was the sole aim of planning an outstation trip once a year."

Kaspersky honored the JCDA members there, and after breakfast it launched Kaspersky anti-virus 2013 jointly among the Chandigarh and Jalandhar members and gifted a box of anti-virus to each of the members.

The onward journey started with a small photo break in between and they finally reached Kasauli Resorts at 2.00 PM.
