IVL India to hold Techmeets for SAP users

Starting this year, IVL India Ltd, an ERP solution provider will hold Technology Meets (Techmeets) to educate the SAP technology users about its benefits and get significant brand boost for IVL products as well. The first such show will be kicked off in Chennai to be followed at Mumbai and then Delhi.

Sunil Gupta, MD, IVL India said that the Techmeets will showcase a number of special technologies and services such as Web application server, data archiving, performance tuning, optimization, delta migration services, help desk, basis and development services. More than 150 people have registered representing various large companies to attend the meet, Gupta added.

IVL's customers including TISCO, Ranbaxy and Saint Gobain will be sharing their project experience with IVL during the meet. "The unique feature of the meet will be the exposure on the latest technologies with live applications, case studies of the some of the success stories and hands on exposure on the technology solutions," Gupta said.

The Techmeet will also be an opportunity to get first hand account of the latest version of Expert Suite, the IVL product, which offers the capability to meet the statutory requirements of Indian corporate houses using SAP/R3 in the areas of exports, imports and excise. The meet will also demonstrate the latest version of iNSUR/3, a package on insurance and claims management.

The relevance of the Techmeet lies in the fact that SAP technologies were changing so fast that its customers in India could not cope up with. SAP was also not conducting awareness programs in the country as it does overseas. Hence the IVL programs would no doubt fill large vacuum created in the sphere of information dissemination on ERP technologies and solutions, Gupta said.
