Information Technology Traders Association (ITTA) Puducherry has launched a
new program for the benefit of customers on the local cable TV channel. MOHF
Shajahan, IT Minister of Pudhucherry, inaugurated the one-hour weekly show
titled 'Tele Computer Solution' on Monday. The objective of the live show is to
interact with customers and increase the mindshare of the association, informed
Rakesh Jain, President, ITTA. The show will be telecasted on Mondays, between
8PM to 9PM. “Most of our customers don't know basic information related to
computers and our service men are put to lots of trouble for small problems. We
intend to solve all those doubts of our customers through this live program,” he
added.

The program is sponsored by ITTA, while D Rajkumar, CEO, Shakthi Computers
and Jayakumar, CEO, Ritchie Computers are the organizers of the program. The
advisory committee includes PN Prasad, CEO, Microplus Computers and S Ravikumar,
CEO, Peripherals Care and other members of the association. “The show would
educate customers on the Do's and Don'ts of computers and would touch on the
environmental aspect and proper usage of the systems as well,” said Rajkumar,
one of the organizers of the program. Starting from selecting the configuration
of the computers to giving reviews about new products and technology, the show
has every necessary ingredient for a customer, he added.

Every association member would be given a chance to interact with customers,
Jain informed. Currently the association is bearing the expenses that are
incurred while running the show. “We need to make this show a grand success.
Even though we received an excellent response on the very first show, it would
take at least two months to make this program a hit. Only then would we look
forward to sponsorship from vendors,” Jain claimed.
