Second hand PCs have slowly and steadily created a demand in the market
especially for people without deep pockets. Infor-mation Technology Association
of Orissa (ITAO) is planning to hold an expo on second hand PC’s in a few
weeks time.

Informed Soubhagaya Routray, General Secretary, ITAO, "After this month
we are planning to hold a small expo on the second hand PC’s. Basically
targeting the home segment and the students who are not that well off. Here they
will get the opportunity to buy a P3 PC for as low as Rs 14,000."

Though they are still in talks before finalizing the event, most of the
dealers who will be showcasing their products will be those who have old stocks
with them, which couldn’t be sold apart from the ones who exclusively deals in
second hand PC’s.
