Intensifying
its work opportunities with several IT technology vendors in the
market, Mumbai based Infotech Software Dealers Association (ISODA) is
all set for its second 'tech summit', which is to be held in
Singapore from January 26-29, 2012. “As of now, about 120 members
have confirmed their presence at the 'tech summit'. With this
summit, we intend to intensify and evolve our partners' business
practices in IT and certainly, there will be a shift in the partners'
approach in the new paradigm of IT,” said Sudarshan Ranganathan,
VP, ISODA.

Focusing on
the partner collaboration and networking, ISODA is finalizing
sponsors with several major vendors like Microsoft, Quest Software,
Symantec, Blue Coat, Fortinet, SonicWall and many more, who have also
shown their keen enthusiasm for sponsoring the 'tech summit'.

According to
the association, the 4-day summit would include 3-4 workshops and
panel discussions. “We are finalizing on the details of the topics
and speakers. It should be ready by the beginning of January 2012,”
added Ranganathan. After tasting success for its first tech summit in
Bangkok, ISODA is all geared up to take the second tech summit to a
higher level. “Seeing last year's success in the tech summit, we
are investing a higher budget of about Rs 50-60 lakh to capitalize a
successful 'tech summit' which would further enhance the business
opportunities for partners,” Ranganathan added.

Speaking more
about the developments by the association, Ranganathan commented that
the association would be relaunching its new website by January 26,
2012. Also, the association plans to increase its membership from the
current base of 124 to about 200 and for this, ISODA would be
primarily focusing on the Kerala region.
