Kolkata-based Iskon Infotech is all set
to open a new branch in Kolkata within four-five months. “We will

Iskon deals in a range of hardware
peripherals, anti-virus solutions, laptops and all-in-one printers.
“As a dealer, we are looking forward to have HP, Compaq and Samsung
laptops as well in our range of products and are looking for vendor
tie-ups. We are also considering the software security space,
although, no concrete plans have been made as of now,” Anand added.
In its overall revenue pattern, Iskon gained a profit of about 15-20
percent in the last FY.

Describing the focus of the company
with respect to sales in laptops and PCs, Anand claimed that the
Iskon will provide the necessary ease and comfort to the masses of
India who have not yet availed the proper facilities. “Kolkata
market is still experiencing a downturn and we are hopeful that it
will gain momentum in the coming months,” opined Anand.
