ISBT ready with hi-tech facilities

Inter-state bus travelers will no longer use shabby and ill-kept inter-state bus terminus at Kashmere Gate. The Delhi government has unveiled the renovated ISBT with airport-like facilities.

The refurbished ISBT boasts of facilities, including escalators, glass elevators, a centrally air-conditioned waiting area, a high-speed Wi-Fi zone, LCD screens, CCTV surveillance, parking, hi-tech public conveniences, information kiosks, an RO plant, and a sewage treatment plant.

The renovated ISBT, which now has a facade that has been restored to the original 1976 style, records over 1 lakh footfalls daily.
