Intransa opens Indian office

Intransa Inc, the only company to deliver a native IP SAN system, has entered
India by setting up a liaison office in Bangalore and plans to open branch
offices in Delhi and Mumbai, shortly. It is also setting up an offshore develop-ment
center, its first outside the US, in Pune. It has earmarked an investment of Rs
4.5 crore.

Headquartered in Bangalore for its Indian operations, Int-ransa has appointed
an industry veteran, B Chandrasekar from Sun Microsystems to oversee the sales,
marketing and custo-mer support activities in India. "We are happy to
announce that even before launching full scale operations in India, Intransa has
already establi-shed a clientele in India for its IP SAN solutions. Wipro Spec-tramind
and Larsen & Toubro feature in this list," said Chandrasekar.

Tata Elxsi and SES Technolo-gies are Intransa’s systems integrator and
distributor partners, respectively, since October 2003.

Avi Katz, President and CEO, Intransa Inc commented, "We will deliver
simple, intelligent, scalable and easily affordable IP SAN solutions to the
Indian markets, through its fast growing network of system integrators and
distribution partners." The company is in the process of identifying
partners and will be appointing across the country in the coming months.
