Delhi-based Intex Technologies (India) Ltd has launched its
range of four laptops models to mark its foray in the notebooks segment. This
venture aims to add a new dimension to Intex's already existing portfolio of
more than 250 products spread across 20 product cateÂgories. The company, which
is a leader in speakers, cabinets, keyboards, mouse and headÂphones intends to
provide a diversified range of value-based high quality products.
Intex has launched four models including 006LT, 006L, 023GD
and 023GC. The models under the 006 series are WI-Fi enabled and are a dream
come true for the multimedia and technology connoisseurs. This range of laptops
also provides high-end features like Intel PenÂtium M processor DOTHON, 1.7GHz
with 2 MB L 2 cache, Intel 915 GM chipset with embedded 3D engine and PCMCIA
slot.

The 023G series targets the customer segment seeÂking
'value for money' option with high perforÂmance and efficient features. It
weighs 2.7 kg and runs on a 1.2 GHz processor with 256 MB RAM, 40 GB hard disk.
Whereas the 023GC comes with a CD-rom.With an additional serial port and a
sophisticated look, the 023G series would be a perfect choice for consumers who
are looking for a mobile solution over their desktop.
Speaking on this occasion Ramesh A Vaswani, PresiÂdent,

Company claims that Intex has the largest market share in
many states in India. With a projected turnover of Rs 185 crores for the current
fiscal, Intex aims to turn itself into Rs 500 crores company by 2007-08.
