Red Hat has announced that with Intel and IBM, it will showcase the emerging need of Linux in the corporate environment. The 'Linux for Enterprises' seminars, to be held across six cities in India, would showcase strengths of Linux in the networked corporate scenario.
Intel and IBM have agreed to join hands with Red Hat, in this venture, because they recognize the huge potential for Linux in the Indian enterprise market, with growth rates predicted to be above 80 percent for the next few years. By joining forces with a global Linux leader like Red Hat, they want to help enterprises be a part of the Linux revolution that is taking place globally.
The seminars-targeted at CEOs, CIOs and IT professionals of large and medium enterprises-would highlight all the latest Red Hat technologies, products and services, ranging from enterprise products and high availability solutions to support for large databases and solutions for parallel servers.
The seminar would also address the applications available on Linux with hardware solutions and how these applications can be customized to suit the business environment. Another highlight of the seminar will be demonstrations from IBM, Intel, Pramati and First Brains Computer Education. These seminars will be held in Bangalore, Chandigarh, Chennai, Hyderabad, New Delhi and Pune. The first of the series has already been held in Pune.
