Infosys plans its next development center in Gujarat

It was the Chairmanship of Indian Institute of Manage-ment, Ahmedabad (IIM-A)
that brought Infosys Chairman, NR Narayana Murthy, frequently to Gujarat. But
now it seems he is planning to set his foot per-manently in Gujarat.

Murthy is contemplating to set up a development center in Ahmedabad, a city
that he described as vibrant and peaceful and its people 'friendly and
enterprising'.

He was in Ahmedabad to attend a meeting of the board of governors of IIM-A.
He however, did not divulge details of the set up saying that it would be
chalked out at the right time.
