In
order
to provide the partners with training, lead generation and
education, to offer customers with greater access to products and
technical expertise, ERP software giant Infor has recently launched a
global partner program named 'Info Partner Network' (IPN). “Having
a more defined and a structured approach, this is a multi-tier global
program that will be launched at multiple levels, and will also focus
on system integrators (SIs). The global program will address the gaps
and issues, which were not addressed in the last program. The program
will also differ for each country according to the business
environment of the each geography,” said Souma
Das, MD and VP-Sales, Infor.

to Das, the worldwide partner program will
be
rolled out in all geographies by June 1, 2011.
This newly launched program will include partner training
participation, partner testing, partner implementation quality and
partner cross-selling. It will cover partner satisfaction,
certification
training ramp, target completion dates and time to
access systems. This program will also provide self-enablement tool
for the channel partners, which will help the partners to access the
data from the channel portals and balance Infor resources (PSO,
pre-sales). Seeing the growing demand of ERP software in the Indian
market, Das said that in India each segment has different
requirements for the solution so a strong channel partner network is
very important to meet the demands. The global partner program will
help Infor in building a strong partner network in India. “In this
financial year, we have appointed 20 channel partners in India and we
have planned to train these newly appointed channel partners to tap
the mid-market in India with efficiency. We will also focus on
training the partners to identify their corresponding competent zones
as per the efficiency so that they can generate a huge profit
margin,” he said.
Aiming
at
increasing the mid-market push for its solutions in the Indian
market, the company has also recently bagged a contract from L&T
Ship building for the deployment of its ERP software. Das said, “With
our ongoing market strategies, we are witnessing a consistent growth
in our business and in the coming years, we expect a 50 percent
growth in our business every year.”
