Business application software provider, Infor, is looking to appoint channel partners in India to further strengthen its presence in the country. The company recently conducted its channel engagement program 'Infor10 On the Road' in Mumbai. This was Infor's first major channel event in India since the company announced the Infor Partner Network (IPN) in June. The company stated that in the first quarter since announcement of the IPN, Infor experienced 23% growth in channel sales compared to the same quarter in the previous year. The company had recently tweaked this program to streamline its offerings and support its partner network. The company intends to double its channel revenue over the next 3 years and the key strategy is to drive growth through its channel base.
Infor channel partners benefit from incentives, selling tools, and training geared towards helping partners grow their businesses around Infor products. All Infor channel partners will have access to resources and tools to help them expand business offerings, profits and be successful, including an incentive based commission structure, multiple bonuses, programs for training and certification.
Furthermore, the partners will have segmented sales zones dedicated to partners and access to dedicated partner market development funds. Souma Das, VP, sales and MD, Infor India said, "We intend to appoint top quality channel partners who have considerable industry and enterprise software market expertise. And through our program, we are committed to provide valuable incentives and support."
Infor plans to take about 20 partners and 5 SIs on board in India. While,the company is primarily targeting enterprises and mid-market companies in the country. Other target verticals include industry equipment manufacturing, ship building, aviation, defense, I T electronics, and automotive.
