Infineon Technologies, supplier of communication semiconductor solutions,
showcased its portfolio of semiconductor-based Core to Door broadband networking
applications at Convergence India tradeshow in New Delhi held between March 22 -
March 24, 2005.
Infineon's booth featured products and technology demonstrations
emphasizing its voice and data integration capabilities as well as Interworking
IP/ATM elements in the access network and its home networking solutions enabling
Triple Play services.
Products and board design highlighted at the Infineon booth include
end-to-End IP broadband Network which consist of Ethernet switch designed with
Infineon's Purple, Ethernet switch connected to the EASY4270-A, and ASDL/2/2+
IP-DSLAM line-card based on Infineon ConverGate / Geminax Max, central office
and the Wild-TriPlay, a complete ADSL Home Gateway card based on the Amazon, an
ADSL2/2+ transceiver to enable access of DS 24,5/US 1,2 Mbps.
The Wild-TriPlay functions as a multimedia home network customer premises
equipment enabling Voice Video and Data transmission designed with Infineon core
technology products, the VINETIC and SLIC-DC to enable VoIP and ADM6996 4-port
Ethernet switch con-troller connected to four different LAN elements. In
addition Infineon will demonstrate its ATA, analog telephone adapter for VoIP
and its INCA-IP, an IP/LAN Telephony system on chip.
