Indian company wins award at Lotusphere

Cybernet Software Systems Inc, a company founded by Indians, has once again bagged the Lotus Beacon Award at Lotusphere' 2001. This time the award is for the Best e-Business Solution. This honor has been conferred for developing a Domino R5-based tendering and online auction solution, which helps improve users purchase and sales activities.

Last year, Cybernet had won the Lotus Beacon Award 2000 in the best tool/utility category at the Lotusphere 2000 and the winning product was IntelliPrint, which enabled users of Lotus Notes/Domino to print from the browser environment while using Notes.

This year the Lotus Beacon Awards were judged by a team of leading IT journalists and analysts. Ken Bisconti, VP (Worldwide Business Partner Program), Lotus Development Corp, said that the Beacon Awards are the perfect forum for recognizing Lotus Business Partners' accomplishments and dedication to delivering the highest quality solutions and services possible, and to specifically honor those business partners who showcase the best the Lotus business partner community has to offer.

This year's the Beacon Awards recognize Lotus business partners who have excelled at providing quality products, innovative solutions and superior services to customers. Nominations for these awards were received from 23 countries.
