Idea partners DMRC for Delhi Metro

Idea Cellular, an Indian GSM player, will enable all its subs-cribers to stay
connected while traveling in Delhi's newly laun-ched Metro between Kashmiri
Gate and North Campus. Cover-ing a distance of four kilome-ters, Idea Cellular
together with Airtel, Hutch and MTNL formed a GSM Consortium to make the Delhi
Metro one of the very few Metros in the world to have mobile coverage possible.
Com-menting on this achie-vement, Idea Cellular CEO Vikram Mehmi said, "We

subscribers anytime anywhere."
