Chennai—based Ican Systems and Solutions, one- year -old in training and
wireless deployment segment, is in process of having a tie -up with RPG Raychem,
a manufacturer of wireless products.
Informing about this venture, Raghu Kumar, CEO, Ican Systems and Solutions,
said, "A MoU would be signed soon with RPG Raychem for distributing their
products in south. " Besides RPG Raychem the company is also a leading
distributor of Netgear and SMC Networks in Chennai."
Being a networking specialist, Ican has planned to focus on the wireless
activities and has even done couple of indoor and outdoor wireless deployments
in India " By this year end we are opening an exclusive showroom, which
would exclusively showcase wireless networking products."
Ican Systems, which has its presence in Chennai is now planning to expand to
Hyderabad. This would not be only its wireless deployment center but also
function as its training division. So far, Ican Systems has trained 60 students
under their training division Certified Wireless Network Administrator
certification program.
About its training division, Raghu Kumar informed that Ican has been
providing training in the Wi-Fi platform and soon be starting Wi-Max training
too. "We are waiting for Wi-Max regulations on standardization to come in a
structured way in India," he added.
Ican has recorded a turnover of Rs 2.5 crore for the fiscal 2004-05 and
expects to reach Rs four crore during the current financial year end-ing
2005-06. Besides wireless networking, Ican Systems and solutions also
specializes in laptop servicing.
